  What's an Apreso?
Apreso Classroom generates Web-based, interactive rich media presentations, called "Apreso's," that any student can access with a personal computer, an Internet connection and a Web browser. They simply log-on to their campus website or CMS as they normally do, and click on the desired Apreso lecture. The entire classroom experience - what the professor said, when they said it, audience remarks, and all visuals projected during the lecture - plays back in an integrated Web-based format.

Interactive for Personal Preference
Students can interact with the Apreso in a variety of ways. They can access any portion of the lecture using a time- and scene-based index. They can pause, replay any section or jump around the course lecture at will. And, they can change the default Apreso view to focus on whichever lecture component they desire; whether it is full-screen video, full-screen visual aids or audio-only views to suit each student's individual preferences.

Universally Viewable
Apreso Classroom's Flash-based output is extremely versatile. Audio-only Apresos can be played back using popular Web browsers on any platform including Windows, Mac, and Linux. They can even be played back over dial-up connections, ensuring students can access their online course lectures from wherever they are, on campus, at home or at work. Apreso Classroom supports multiple video codecs, including Windows Media, Real and Flash. Apresos including video capture can be played back using Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Netscape depending on the video codec captured. Lecture audio can even be accessed on an iPod or MP3 player for anytime, anywhere lecture review.
